DRG has always had a strong focus on the safety of its employees and the general public – they are constantly updating and reviewing the newest policies to ensure their team are fully trained and updating their skill-set. DRG goes the extra mile with recording and daily reporting and strive to achieve excellence by ensuring full compliance with industry best practice, legal regulations and their own ambitious standards and policies.
With robust systems, tools, partnerships and initiatives in place, they are continually finding new ways to measure and reduce the environmental impact of their activities. DRG's recycling and waste management recording are second to none, and strive to achieve 100% recycling where possible. They are also heavily involved with local schools teaching the importance of reducing carbon footprint and following a stringent recycling schedule.
DRG strives to ensure that the workplace is safe for all of its employees, contractors and visitors taking the utmost care to ensure everyone is briefed before entering the workplace. The site managers offer daily tool box talks, and run through the health and safety policy before entering the site. All contractors are pre-qualified to ensure the best work will be provided for the customer, and competence check sheets and verification are recorded before their work commences.
For the contractors they offer daily fruit on site, and provide regular information on healthy eating. They take their employees out on team building exercise activities providing a better quality of life while their team are away from home.
All sites are set up with job-specific inductions which each worker must attend prior to commencing any work on site. Once inducted workers must wear high visibility vests and other PPE equipment where relevant.
