DRG Partner with Lighthouse Construction Industry Charity and their 'Help Inside the Hard Hat' Campaign

We’ve officially become a company supporter of Lighthouse Construction Industry Charity and their ‘Help Inside the Hard Hat’ campaign, which supports the mental health of the construction industry.

Our industry can be physically and mentally tough and with staggering statistics of two construction workers taking their own lives every working day, this is something we cannot ignore.

The image of the construction industry is changing, and we hope to raise awareness and help everyone in being able to talk openly and honestly about their mental health. Making use of the widely available resources The Lighthouse Construction Industry Charity provide, we want to help make sure no employee, contractor, subcontractor or their family feels alone in a crisis.

The Lighthouse Construction Industry Charity is the only charity that provides emotional, physical, and financial wellbeing support to construction workers and their families. They don’t receive public funding and rely on the generosity of those within in the industry to help them continue their vital work. As a company supporter, we make an annual donation to this extremely important charity. For every £1 charitable spend the charity creates £7.48 in social value, which shows the financial value as well as the positive impact the charity’s services and resources have on the people they help and support.
