The client took on a large existing office building in the heart of Hayes, with a view to repurposing the structure into 113 residential apartments. DRG was commissioned as main contractor and work started in August 2022.

The DRG solution
Externally, roofs are to be made good and façade cladding is to be removed and replaced with safety-compliant modern cladding. All windows are to be replaced with new glazing.
Internally, following strip-out and structural work, partition walls and new doors are to be installed throughout to create the individual apartments. Each apartment is to be completed to turnkey standard, with high-specification kitchens and bathrooms and performance flooring throughout.
