Client & brief

Canadian business Acadian Plant Health offers innovative crop care solutions that improve plant growth and development, while supporting sustainable farming.

Acadian Plant Health took on a unit in Malvern Science Park, with the aim of creating a UK-based Formulation Centre. The Malvern site was to be only the second run by the company in the world, with its other Centre of Excellence being in Cornwallis, Canada.

The brief included creating a fully functional ground floor scientific Formulation Laboratory, with offices, meeting room, general store and archive on the first floor. The fit-out required complex venting systems and specialist flooring, as well as partitioning and decorating.

The DRG solution

DRG managed the entire refurbishment for the client, which took a total of 12 weeks on site, allowing the client to begin utilising the updated space as quickly as possible.

The offices were originally open plan, so were partitioned off to suit the client’s specific needs, working to architect plans. Anti-slip vinyl flooring was laid in all relevant areas, allowing the specialist lab equipment to be installed by the client following our work.

Final finishing touches and full decoration completed our work onsite, allowing us to hand the building back to the client ready for use, as a full turnkey project.
